Alejandro Gomez is looking for a new team after being released by Sevilla last month and is eyeing a return to Serie A, with Inter potentially in the mix. The Nerazzurri signed Alexis Sanchez. He couldn’t feature in the early matches and is currently dealing with anemia, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

La Beneamata is following the situation but was reportedly aware of the blood disorder beforehand. The front office tried to stop the veteran from going to Chile during the break. The case is mild and can heal without affecting his availability.

Hence, Inter are on high alert but are unlikely to put Gomez under the contract in short order. He was making €2M in Andalusia. Since he was out of the country for three years, Italian clubs would be able to save on his salary. Monza are thinking about him. He’d be fairly close to Bergamo if he moved there.

Lecce and Udinese are putting the finishing touches on two free-agent deals. Nicola Sansone is taking the medicals for the Salentini. If all goes well, he’ll sign a two-year contract with very low wages. The Bianconeri are bringing back Roberto Pereyra. He has been attached to a host of teams all over the world this summer. Inter included, but they ultimately picked Davy Klaassen over him and Gomez to complete their midfield.
