Matic praise for Man Utd, Arsenal target Doue

Former Premier League star Nemanja Matic appears to have given Arsenal the go ahead to sign Rennes prospect Desire Doue.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed himself in France's top flight so far this season, raising the eyebrows of many scouts.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both vying for his signature.

Ex-United and Chelsea star Matic stated to the Ligue 1 website: "In my entire career, I've never played in such a young team, with players at 19 or 20 years old.

"[But] it's always interesting to see how they progress. Desire has great potential.

There are a few others but I don't want to say their names because I don't think it's good for them."
