Mike Rotunda: Bray Wyatt Will Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame At Some Point
Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Mike Rotunda, Bray Wyatt’s father, comments on his son not getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

Bray Wyatt passed away at the age of 36 in August 2023. He was one of WWE’s top stars, and he was a former WWE Champion and Universal Champion. Following his passing, many fans expected him to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024. However, with WrestleMania 40 rapidly approaching, he has not been announced for the class. Instead, his father and Barry Windham will be inducted as the U.S. Express.

In an interview with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Mike Rotunda was asked about getting the call for the Hall of Fame. He noted that he thought WWE would induct Bray immediately, but the company may have opted to wait.

“I was surprised because with my son, with Windham passing, I thought they were gonna immediately put Windham into the Hall of Fame, which he will be at some point,” Rotunda said. “But I think that WWE re-assessed stuff and thought it was too soon to go there with our family and the reactions, and the stress on us.

“We got a call from WWE. [They] said Hunter wants to do a Zoom call. We were thinking they were gonna tell us what was gonna happen at WrestleMania. And Hunter said you guys are gonna get inducted, you and Barry.”

Rotunda previously commented on how WWE has helped Bray’s family.
